My name is Jimmy Marks. I'm a User Experience Designer and Front-End Designer/Developer. You can tell I'm good at what I do because this text is easy to read and this site doesn't take long to load.

I try to keep my focus on the basics – HTML, CSS and JavaScript, although I do use a variety of frameworks, extensions and tools to get the job done.

You can read all about my career as a web designer/dev on my Websites page.

I have a life outside of the Internet, I swear.

I have other skills and fascinations that keep me busy. I'm an avid photographer (check out my Flickr), writer (read my stories on Medium) and illustrator (see my Illustrations page). I've worked on a number of fascinating projects with a lot of great people. I'd love to work with you, too.

If you are using a roll-your-own website solution (Squarespace, Wix, Wordpress hosted, etc.), don't worry - I can help you with that, too! I do that kind of thing for several small businesses and self-employed people. You probably need the help, and I'm happy to provide.
